Description:Online Line Voter Registration:
The state of Georgia currently allows its citizens to register to vote by walking into a county office, mailing in a filled voter registration application, or electronically from any one of the other state agencies such as DDS. The Online Voter Registration module provides another avenue for Georgia voter applicants to register online using any one of the following devices: a desktop or laptop computer, a tablet device, or smart phone. The data that is collected through the Online Voter Registration process will reside in the ElectioNet database in a temporary status until the county user reviews and approves the request to become an eligible voter.
My Voter Page:
Currently the citizens of Georgia can access their My Voter Page (MVP) by entering their first initial, last name, DOB, and county in which they are registered to vote. Once the credentials are verified with the voter registration database a voter will be provided the following information:
· Name, address, demographics, status, and registration date
· A link for a blank, fillable voter registration application to change their address
· Information on the voter’s voting precinct at well as a link to Map for directions
· A blank, fillable absentee ballot application to be completed and mailed to the county elections office
· The ability to track absentee ballots to determine when the absentee ballot request was received, absentee ballot was issued and when the absentee ballot was received at the county election office
· A link to information on early voting locations
· Sample ballots
· Information on current offices holders for the federal, statewide offices, as well as local state legislative representatives
· For UOCAVA voters the portal will also allow for electronic delivery of their ballots
