Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, while playing music in the background and displaying the song’s lyrics. DS audio can also become a remote control, allowing to stream your songs directly from your DiskStation to any connected speakers or player. With DS audio for iPhone/iPad, you can:-Play music stored on your DiskStation with iPhone/iPad/iPod touch-Browse music by playlist, artist, composer, genre, folder, or album-Create and edit your own playlists -Download to local memory for Offline listening-Listen to Internet Radio programs-Use DS audio as a remote to stream music form your DiskStation to any attached speakers (Airplay-enabled and UPnP media renderers)-Connect with your QuickConnect ID (requires DSM 4.2)-Supports HTTPS for secure connection-Encrypted login over HTTP without SSL-All features available with DSM 4.3 and Audio Station 5.1 running on the DiskStation -Requires iOS 4.3 and onwards.
